Kids are some of the most creative thinkers there are. They don’t worry about being judged. They let their minds wander and go wherever. They’re kind of like the ultimate word clouds!
The next time you’re around little ones, give in to their play world. Conjure up what it would taste like to eat the hamburger-pickle-fudge pizza they “made” for you. Lose yourself in the “cave” built out of blankets without being tempted to fish lost puzzle pieces and socks out from under the couch while you’re down there. Put on the hat and act like a firefighter.
Using your imagination can help get your own creativity flowing. And as with anything, practice makes perfect. So why not make playdates with your favorite kids regular events?
